Shopping for veggies? Here are some tips from us to make your food shopping more efficient! 1. Buy the smallest tomatoes. (grape or cherry and always organic) They have 10 times more lycopene as the large ones! 2. Buy big carrots! Baby carrots are just big carrots shaved down to low nutrient nubs. 3. Buy anything that is black, purple, blue or red! Extremely potent and good for you! 4. Buy something from the “brassica” family like cabbage, kale, broccoli, arugula etc 5. Buy fresh herbs and wrap them in non chlorine paper towel and place them in baggies in the refrigerator drawer. They last longer that way. Use them at the end of cooking or chop them up and add them to dips, soups, pastas, potatoes and salads! Now get food shopping and ENJOY! Looking for nutritional guidance?
