𝗦𝗨𝗭𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗨𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦⠀ ⠀ When we celebrate a birthday at Wholebody, black bean cupcakes are a necessity. Suzie even won a baking contest with these a few years back for @ziggymarley! We are so excited to share this delicious recipe with you all! ⠀ ⠀ Ingredients: ⠀ -1 can organic black beans, drained and rinsed until water runs clear ⠀ -1/3 cup coconut oil ⠀ -1/3 cup raw cocoa powder ⠀ -1 cup organic sugar or coconut sap crystals⠀ -4 large organic eggs⠀ -1 tsp vanilla ⠀ -1 1/2 tsp baking powder⠀ -1 tsp baking soda ⠀ -1/2 tsp almond extract ⠀ -1/2 tsp cinnamon ⠀ -Dash sea salt ⠀ -@enjoylifefoods chocolate chips (to top)⠀ ⠀ Directions: ⠀ 1. Mix all ingredients in blender (vitamix preferred) at a high speed until smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no bits or lumps.⠀ 2. Spoon into cupcake liners and top with chocolate chips (for a cake, use a 8 or 9″ cake pan, greased with coconut oil and dusted with cacao powder).⠀ 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before eating. ⠀ ⠀ This time i only topped with chocolate chips, but if you want an awesome frosting recipe:⠀ -3/4 cup coconut milk/coconut creamer ⠀ -10 oz chocolate chips ⠀ -6 tbsp coconut oil ⠀ -1 tsp vanilla ⠀ -1/2 tsp @dandyblend coffee ⠀ ⠀ Place together in a small sauce pan and stir until chips are melted. Pour into container and set aside to cool.
